Hi, I’m Erin.

I help adults like you embrace your ADHD, feel more connected to others, increase self-compassion, and understand how your uniquely wired brain works best. My job is to encourage your growth, ignite your curiosity, and grow your confidence, so you can live your best life.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for 15 years and have a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). I’ve been a case manager, a school liaison, an in-home therapist for families in crisis, and an outpatient therapist for adults with ADHD.

The more I listened to my therapy clients discuss their most debilitating ADHD symptoms, the more I realized that action-oriented support + gentle accountability could be just as beneficial as traditional talk therapy.

By experimenting with outside-the-box interventions, I can help you create actionable solutions, celebrate wins, and learn from bumps in the road (#1 rule: progress over perfection). I truly love witnessing my clients connect the dots and get closer to where they want to be.

My work is largely informed by my personal experience.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in college at age 21, after my struggle to keep up in a particularly difficult class became too much to bear. I often describe the experience as a mix of relief (“thank goodness someone figured this out for/with me!”) + and grief (“why am I only learning this now and where would I be if I knew when I was younger?”).

The good news: Having a name for my challenges, and experiencing the brand new world of a medicated brain, provided answers to questions I’d had for years and gave me a newfound confidence as a student.

Now, 20 years later, I’m a wife and mom, and it turns out that everyone in my family is neurodivergent, or has a “neurospicy” brain (as the Zoomers say).

The apple does not fall far, indeed.

I’m so grateful for the increased awareness around how ADHD presents in adults, particularly in girls and women, in “inattentive types,” during the 3 P’s (puberty, pregnancy, perimenopause), and the general conversation about neurodivergence happening today.

Yet, as helpful as it is to know that our brains work differently (and that we’re not lazy or dumb!), it doesn’t take away the frustration that builds when things don’t come easy.

My goal as a coach is to be the type of professional that I would have felt seen and understood by when:

  • I was feeling defeated in college, coming to terms with a missed-in-childhood ADHD diagnosis, and needing help with action steps

  • I was newly married and inadvertently taking on household roles and responsibilities that would go unchallenged for over a decade

  • I was an overwhelmed and overstimulated young mother wondering how in the world I was supposed to function normally when nothing felt normal

  • I found myself stretched to the max with home/family/career and was unable to hold all the “adulting” balls in the air anymore

🤍 I strive to be radically accepting + affirming. My practice is grounded in antiracism + inclusivity. I’m committed to supporting the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent communities, and ensuring that every individual feels safe, valued, and heard.

💛 I love to travel + I’m often daydreaming about my next trip. ✈️

💛 I’m a huge music lover (mostly indie/folk/rock) and enjoy going to live shows and making Spotify playlists.

💛 My dog Goldie and cat Tula come to work with me every day and make occasional cameos on-camera.

💛 I was raised in the South by Yankee parents. My grandfather immigrated to the US from Limerick, Ireland, so I’m a North Carolinian with roots in the Bronx, Philly + the west of Ireland (the name of my business is a nod to my 🇮🇪 Irish roots).

💛 I’m a huge fan of the Enneagram. I’m a 2w1 with a social subtype. I love sharing the wisdom of the Enneagram with my clients.

My areas of specialization

  • I’m a Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI) I’ve received foundational training in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and advanced training in Psychotherapy and Paternal Mental Health.

    I'm passionate about supporting both mothers and fathers (in ALL forms - biological, adoptive, foster, kinship, and stepparents) as they transition to parenthood.

  • I’m trained as a facilitator in the Fair Play Method based on the best selling book by Eve Rodsky—a time- and anxiety-saving system that offers a new way to divvy up domestic responsibilities. We'll explore what the invisible work in your family actually entails, how to get it all done efficiently, and why our homes are our most important organization when thinking about new work-life strategies.

  • I've worked with all types of couples, from newly dating to married for decades. I'm particularly drawn to couples where neurodivergence is at play (one or both partners) and communication and/or understanding of each other's perspective is lacking. I help partners get on the same page, have the hard conversations they've been avoiding (or arguing about), and make steps towards change. I’ve completed the Gottman Method Level I training.

  • I've received advanced clinical training in ADHD, related to both children and adults.

    I've attended the annual international ADHD Conference multiple times and have interacted with influential speakers/writers including Ned Hallowell, John Ratey, Ari Tuckman, Melissa Orlov, Jessica McCabe, and Tamara Rosier.

    I have a special interest in ADHD in women, specifically the impact on ADHD in pregnancy and perimenopause, and the use of stimulant medication during the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.
